In honor of the University of San Agustin’s 120th anniversary, the USA ROTC Unit, together with CWTS reservists, USA ROTC Golden Eagles Association, AGSO, Agustino Para sa Tao, SACEO, and USA Publications, joined forces for an impactful environmental project on August 23, 2024. The NSTP Tree Planting activity at Sapal, San Lorenzo, Guimaras, exemplified the collective dedication to ecological preservation and community service.

Under the theme “Ka-USA sa Pag Amlig sang Dunang Manggad,” the event motivated young leaders to take active roles in environmental sustainability. Spearheaded by Ms. Ma. Consejo Centino, USA-NSTP Head, and with vital support from USAGE Inc., participants planted over 160 diverse tree seedlings. This initiative aimed to enrich the natural landscape of the area, which is envisioned to host future recreational infrastructure by the university.
